3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

A baseball bat is a long and aerodynamic club that can be made of either metal or wood. While it is typically used for sport it can be a very lethal weapon in the right hand. A baseball bat can be used two-handed as a martial weapon. A baseball bat is finessable weapon thanks to it design.

Characters with exotic weapon proficiency (baseball bat) are capable of using it one-handed without trouble and gain a ranged special attack with their baseball bat. The wielder of the baseball bat is capable of using the weapon as if it was a projectile weapon (thus transferring enhancement to the ammunition) with a range of 60. This special attack behave exactly like a normal range attack except the wielder may use her Strength instead of Dexterity for calculating her attack roll and damage roll (even if she normally couldn't add an ability score to damage), if the bat is used with two hands as a part of the ranged attack the damage is increased as normal for two-handed weapon. Unlike normal ranged attack it is possible to use power attack with a baseball bat's ranged attack as if it was a two-handed weapon (even if used one-handed). Using this ability require ammunition in the form a specially made ball costing a single silver piece.

A baseball bat counts as a club for all feats and pre-requisites, such as Weapon Focus.
