Nuitari is the smallest of the three moons orbiting Krynn, and also the closest to that world.[note 1] It is also known as the black moon. It is the celestial representation of the god Nuitari, deity of black magic, also known as the Devouring Dark, Nightreaver, and Ungod.[1]

Notes[edit]

  1. Dragonlance Adventures gives Nuitari the second longest orbital period, suggesting that Nuitari would orbit Krynn between Solinari and Lunitari. Krynnspace states that the three moons share one orbit and always keep the same distance from each other. Both variants would make the Night of the Eye as described in Tales of the Lance and Dragonlance novels impossible, the alignment of all moons, which is a very important event for the magic users of Krynn.
