Augmented Stance [Metamaneuver] Benefit: To use this feat, you must be using a stance. While you're in that stance, you initiate a Rush or Boost maneuver and declare you're using this feat. In doing so, you lengthen the duration of the Boost or Rush to the length of your Stance, thus lasting until you change Stances. You only gain the benefit of the Rush tied to the Stance when you perform the prescribed movement action.

The combined level of the Stance and Boost or Rush cannot exceed the level of the highest-level maneuver you're capable of using; Thus if you were capable of using 8th-level maneuvers, you could add a 4th-level Boost to your 4th-level Stance.

You can only have one Augment applied to your Stance at any time. You cannot recover the Boost or Rush in question while the Augmented Stance is active. Once it ends, the Boost or Rush is ineligible for recovery for a number of rounds equal to the number of rounds it was attached to the Stance. Example: A third-level Swordsage could choose to Augment his Flame's Blessing stance with his Burning Blade boost. Every round, his attacks would deal the additional 1d6+3 Fire damage, until he decided to change to a different stance. If he remains in the Augmented Flame's Blessing for 6 rounds, he must wait 6 more rounds before he can attempt to recover his Burning Blade.
