Yuriovan

A race of half snow elves living in a frozen land. They use ice powers and inventions to defend themselves.

Personality

Yuriovans are mostly friendly, but can be suspicious to wome other races, especially when they have something to do with fire. Each Yuriovan has diffrent ice abilities, which depends on the Mark of Cold he/she has. The Mark is based on the bloodlines a Yuriovan has (if the parents have a warrior mark, the child will most likely have a warrior mark).

Physical Description

Yuriovans look a lot like humans. they have mostly variants of blue eyes and their haircolor can be brown, blond, white or silver.

Relations

They are suspicious to most races, but will stay friendly if the person seems friendly.

Alignment

Alignment can be anything not chaotic or evil.

Lands

Yuriovans come from Yuriova, a mountainous land covered by snow, but has plants and animals that have adapted to the cold.

Religion

Yuriovans don't practice any religion.

Language

Yuriovans speak Yuriovan and common.

Names

Yuriovans have elvish sounding names.

Racial Traits

• +2 Intelligence, +2 Wisdom, +2 Strength or +2 Constitution, +2 Dexterity: Being half snow elf and half human, the Yuriovans gained the wisdom and dexterity of elves and the intellect and strength of humans.
• Humanoid (Half Snow elf): Born in desperate times, the Yuriovans are the offspring of a Snow elf and a Human. 
• Medium: As a Medium creature, a yuriovan has no special bonuses or penalties due to its size.
• Yuriovan base land speed is 40 feet.  
• Low-Light Vision: A yuriovan can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. She retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions. 
• Cold Resistance (Ex): Yuriovans are completely immune to cold, or any cold based attacks. 
• Alertness (Ex): Yuriovans get a +1 on Perception checks.
