Executioner's

An executioner's item is big and heavy. They are the weapons used in public executions.

The executioner's template can be added to any weapon.. An executioner's weapon has all the base statistics of the normal item except as noted here.

Requirements

The creator of an executioner's item must possess at least 10 ranks in the appropriate Craft or 10 ranks in Heal.

Executioner's Weapons

Executioner's weapons are large and clearly meant for finishing blows. Because of this property the weapons have an imposing, appearance.

Cost: 1000 gp

Affinities: Dismemberment; Executioner's Blade (specific weapon); Killing; Keen; Massive Critical; Slaying; Vorpal; Wounding.

Special: An executioner's weapon deals maximum damage on a critical hit. Any attack roll greater than one is considered a natural roll of 1 greater (ie a roll of 19 is a natural 20, but a roll of 1 is still a 1). The base damage die is increased one size. However despite these advantages, their is a major disadvantage to using an executioner's weapon, you may not make attacks of opportunity with it unless you possess Exotic Weapon Proficiency (executioner's weapons), and take a cumulative -2 penalty on each attack you make in a round.
