Inevitable Petrification

Due to an unshakable curse you are slowly becoming petrified. There is small benefit in it, though...

Benefit: For every point of Dex damage you take (see below), you gain a +1 bonus to natural armor. In addition if you are every brought to -10 or lower hp, you are instead petrified at -9 and stable. This doesn't help you immediately, but makes you easier to return to the living. You can still die if your statue is destroyed.

Drawback: Every morning you take 1d4 Dex damage as your body slowly petrifies itself. You restore all Dex damage done by this trait as long as you get 8 hours of rest, but the ability damage comes every morning regardless if you have rested or not.

You are particularly weak to petrification, taking a -4 penalty on saves against it. In addition if you are ever brought to 0 Dex for any reason, you are petrified at 1 Dex.

Petrification from this trait bypasses any immunities to petrification you have.

Special: Needless to say if you become immune to ability damage you are immune to both the downsides and benefits of this trait.

Roleplaying Ideas: Perhaps you just got a glance at the medusa and it stuck, or maybe it was the stone god's curse. Whatever the case, you're always in danger that one day you might just stop moving...
