Ravaged By Yeenoghu[edit]
As an interloper in the Abyssal realm, Yeenoghu has sought to gain the loyalty of as many demons as possible. Converting them through persuasion only works so well, and so the Great Conqueror has often resorted to what he knows best: force. As a result, many of his ravaged have been created from unwilling subjects. Their deeply rooted loathing for their once-mortal master, although mostly suppressed by the ravage, manifests itself as ferocious rage in battle.
Making a Ravaged By Yeenoghu[edit]
Ravaged by Yeenoghu have been marked indelibly as subjects of the Great Conqueror, and in order to be truly worthy of the honor they ave to be strong enough to be useful vassals.

Class Features[edit]
All of the following are class features of the ravaged by Yeenoghu.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Ravaged by Yeenoghu become proficient in spiked hammers. They gain no additional armour or shield proficiencies.
Spellcasting or Bonus Feat: When a ravaged by Yeenoghu gains their first class level, they can choose to either advance spellcasting or not to. If they choose to advance spellcasting, gaining a level in ravaged by Yeenoghu counts as gaining a level in their previous class for the purposes of spells known and spells per day. If they had multiple classes capable of casting spells, they choose which one is advanced in this manner.
If they choose not to advance spellcasting, they gain a bonus feat at each level of ravaged by Yeenoghu. They must meet all the prerequisites for a feat to take it. Once this choice is made, it cannot be changed, and remains constant no matter how many levels of ravaged by Yeenoghu are taken.
Abyssal Power (Su): The mighty power of the Abyss flows through a ravaged by Yeenoghu. If they have any spell-like abilities or spells, their caster level always equals their character level (or CR), and any DCs for these spells or spell-like abilities is worked out as if it were a supernatural ability (10 + 1/2 the ravaged by Yeenoghu's character level or CR + the appropriate ability score modifier).
Scion of Conquest: A ravaged by Yeenoghu gains a close connection to the powers of strength. This has different effects depending on whether the ravaged by Yeenoghu is a spellcaster or not.
If the ravaged by Yeenoghu is not a spellcaster, they gain the following spell-like abilities at the designated character level (or CR), each useable once per day. If their character level or CR exceeds the minimum character level or CR of the spell-like ability by 2 or 3, then they may use that ability 3/day instead, and if it exceeds the minimum character level or CR of the spell-like ability by 4 or more, they may use it at-will. These abilities have Charisma-based DCs and a caster level equal to the ravaged by Yeenoghu's character level (or CR).
Minimum Character Level | Spell-Like Ability Gained | Equivalent Spell Level |
---|---|---|
1 | death knell | 1st |
3 | crushing despair | 2nd |
5 | greater command | 3rd |
7 | dimensional anchor | 4th |
9 | hold monster | 5th |
11 | antimagic field | 6th |
13 | mass hold monster | 7th |
15 | hijacking dispel | 8th |
17 | gate | 9th |
If the ravaged by Yeenoghu is a spellcaster, they add all of the above spells to their class list, and learn them when they reach the marked character level (or CR). They cast them as they would normally cast spells from their class. If the ravaged by Yeenoghu had multiple spellcasting classes, apply this to all of them.
Rage (Ex): A ravaged by Yeenoghu holds a tremendous amount of anger towards its master, who has dominated their will through power. They vent their excess aggression as a ferocious rage that spills over when they enter combat. When it makes or suffers a successful melee attack, the ravaged by Yeenoghu may spend an immediate action to enter a state of rage that offers it a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls, a -2 penalty to Armor Class, and damage reduction X/- where equal to half the ravaged by Yeenoghu’s Challenge Rating (or character level, if applicable). The rage ends if the barbarian does not strike or get struck in melee for 3 rounds. This ability does not coincide with a barbarian’s rage, but nor does it inhibit other actions that the ravaged by Yeenoghu could take (such as using a spell, spell-like ability, or magical item).
Ravage Form (Sp): As a full-round action, a 2nd level ravaged by Yeenoghu may bestow Yeenoghu's ravage on a creature eligible to gain a level. That creature gains its first level in the ravaged by Yeenoghu racial paragon class. If the ravaged by Yeenoghu attempts to ravage an unwilling creature, it receives a Will save to resist (Charisma-based DC).
Victorious Strike (Ex): When the ravaged by Yeenoghu reaches 2nd level, it is a true agent of the Great Conqueror, and to witness its grisly work strikes terror into the hearts of the bravest of foes while invigorating allies. All allies who witness the ravaged by Yeenoghu slay an enemy gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls on their next turn, while enemies who witness the act incur a -1 penalty on their next turn. This bonuses and penalties are not cumulative; an individual can only affected by it once per round.
Ex-Ravaged By Yeenoghu[edit]
Despite their loathing for him, most demons that serve Yeenoghu will never have the power to overcome his ravage. Should they manage to escape his control, they lose access to any spells, spell-like abilities and supernatural abilities from this class, and cannot continue to advance in it. Yeenoghu knows, however, that once they leave many will realize that they were on the winning team and will want to return. In these cases, they can atone to continue advancing and get their powers back. It is suggested that Yeenoghu actually favors those who forsake him and return, since it shows that they were strong enough to resist but then able to see the light before returning to his side.
