The rare gem known as a tearstone has the uncanny ability to sense imminent death. The purple tearstone augments both attack and defense in times of need.
If reduced to 20% hp or less while wearing this ring, the damage from your physical attacks gain a 50% increase (as if they were empowered, like a metamagic spell), and the damage from your any attacks (physical or otherwise) is reduced by 50%. Halve damage before applying damage reduction.
Prerequisites: Forge Ring, greater magic weapon.
