Vibrolithe
A highly dangerous material embraced by those who like high risk and high reward, vibrolithe is a nearly indestructible metallic substance that always seem to be vibrating in 'tonal frequencies'. Vibrolithe is an Idylean material, used extremely rarely for it dangerous natures and limitations. Vibrolithe cannot be alloyed at all, given it nature it cannot be combined with another material (through a transmuter forge or with the material composite enhancement).
When shaped into weapons vibrolithe potential come to light, a vibrolithe weapon build ridiculous excess of kinetic energy. Vibrolithe weapons require exotic weapon proficiency to use. When used in melee a vibrolithe weapon deal damage as if it was three size category larger and increase the weapon dice by one step. However the excess kinetic energy is also released upon the wielder, who always take half as much damage as he deal with each attacks. This damage is typeless, not multiplied on a critical hit. When used on animated weapon or ranged weapon the effects are not quite as extreme but without real drawbacks, a ranged or animated vibrolithe weapon deal damage as if it was one size category larger and increase the weapon dice by one step. Vibrolithe is extremely devastating on a critical hit, increase a vibrolithe weapon critical threat and critical hit multiplier by 1. Projectile weapons made of vibrolithe have their range increased by 50% and make it projectile deal damage as it was one size category larger and increase it projectile damage dice by one step (don't stack with vibrolithe ammunition), however the excess kinetic energy deal damage to the wilder equal to it strength bonus or 10, whichever is higher.
When used to craft an armor or shield, vibrolithe is extremely protective. Vibrolithe armor require require exotic weapon proficiency of the armor size category (so a vibrolithe full-plate would require heavy exotic armor proficiency). When wearing a vibrolithe armor reduces all hit point damage by the 5+ half base AC bonus granted by the armor or shield before applying other effects such as damage reduction or energy resistance. It works against physical damage as well as energy damage, even force or typeless damage with the exception of sonic damage. Vibrolithe armor also vibrate magic away from the wearer, granting spell dampening of 2 (light armor or light shield), 3 (medium armor or heavy shield) or 5 (heavy armor or tower shield).
Vibrolithe is invincible, it cannot be armed or broken in any way unless first made vulnerable. The only way of making vibrolithe vulnerable to damage is by exposing it to a very specific sound frequency. Doing so require dealing exactly 100+(item weightx3) in sonic damage to the vibrolithe item, once done the item will be vulnerable to harm for 1 minute. While vulnerable vibrolithe has 60 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 25.
A vibrolithe item cannot be crafted by mortals, only creatures with 40 ranks in Craft (Metal) can shape molten vibrolithe.
