The rare gem known as a tearstone has the uncanny ability to sense imminent death. The blue tearstone boosts the defense of its wearer when in danger.
If reduced to 20% hp or less while wearing this ring, the damage from your any attacks (physical or otherwise) is reduced by 50%. Thus if a fighter takes 30 damage from a troll, it becomes 15 damage. Halve damage before applying damage reduction.
Prerequisites: Forge Ring, magic vestment.
Cost to Create: 6000 gp, 480 EXP, 12 days.
