Many scrutinize the appearance of the Pudgeys—some even say that they look more like comedians. Pudgeys are the sole example of the term ‘teamwork.’ They are hard workers, and they never let go of their goals. They are descendants of a proud race that had once cultivated the lands above the Pudgey’s subterranean world. Outside of these caves, the world is barren and dangerous.

Play a Pudgey if you want…

  • To become a resourceful character that favors teamwork over isolation.
  • To harness the talents of appraising stonework and to quickly hide from your enemies.
  • To be a member of a race that favors the Commando, Sage, and Spellcaster classes.

Physical Qualities[edit]

Pudgeys are subterranean creatures, which would mean that a lack of sunlight would make most creatures’ skin tones paler due to the lack of important nutrients. The pudgey’s home world is actually lighted by the aid of solar crystals-- an efficient way to bring dim solar light into a dark space. This solution actually makes their skin darker-- resulting in tougher hides and wrinkly, damage-resistant skin. Most pudgy skin tones are a muddy yellow or a dark brown, and tones in between. Pudgeys have no head or facial hair and are commonly seen with brown, blue, and green eyes.
Pudgeys have created a society in which teamwork is the primary basis of ordinary life. Many pudgeys are stonemasons-- carrying on the work of their fore-fathers. As a result, many pudgeys have looked back at what their ancestors had provided for them. They yearn for the end of the turmoil that has plagued the upper world above their subterranean homelands.
Pudgeys life spans at about 85 years, but some of the most venerable members can live up to 100 or more years of age. Even at an old age, pudgy elders can still accomplish moderate tasks with help.

Playing a Pudgey[edit]

As they are subterranean creatures, pudgeys are not restricted from exploring the surface worlds of other planets. They’d prefer to walk on rolling plains and scale tall mountains. They are extremely adventurous and their devious nature allows them to become free spirits in a world full of lurking danger.
Their ancestors were great stone workers, and enjoyed carving their own tunnels where they can live comfortably or hold important meetings. Some tunnels have also been used for recreation. When the world suddenly shifted, it drew the planet nearer to the sun-- making its surface unbearably hot. The pudgeys had to flee underground to escape the heat, and they all worked together to create the homelands that exist today. The pudgeys today have devoted themselves by using their ancestor’s methods of working together to rebuild their long-lost home and to discover hidden revelations that they have yet to find.

Pudgey Adventurers[edit]

Three sample Pudgey adventurers are described below.

Kelina, a pudgey sage, is a spiritually guided individual—using the elements to benefit those around her and to guide herself to an eventual state of elemental enlightenment. Her wily personality is balanced by her kind nature, and she is always offering to provide a helping hand whenever she can.
Orrick, a pudgey commando, is an astonishing individual who never takes no as an answer when faced against stiff challenges. He is a driven spirit with an unrivalled charismatic soul, enabling him to test his willpower and courage to the extent where no other has dared to reach. He is an excellent addition to any military faction and his spirit never fades.
Yuri, a pudgey spellcaster, is an individual whose attention to the elemental worlds has never been severed. She has devoted her life to seeking the answers of her fore-fathers and to unlock the untold secrets of the Elements. She believes that the pudgeys were the first to actually discover the hearts of the elements themselves.
