Ratings UpdateEdit
Following the recent wiki vote on ratings granularity and display, all old ratings can be updated to make use of "love / like / neutral / dislike / hate" instead of the old values. If you would like to update your ratings, you can find a list of them at Category:Legacy Rating Leziad. When you update a rating, be sure to delete the "|OldRating=True" part. - Tarkisflux Talk 17:52, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Giant Class Update ThingyEdit
Here's the drop in:
<div class="blank"> [[Summary::<!-- A short description of your class. This will show up on the class navigation page. -->]] [[Length::<!-- The length of your class. Most base classes are 20 levels long. -->]] [[Minimum Level::<!-- The minimum level you can qualify for this class. -->]] [[Base Attack Bonus Progression::<!-- Choose one of: Good, Moderate, Poor, Other. -->]] [[Fortitude Save Progression::<!-- Choose one of: Good, Poor, Other. -->]] [[Reflex Save Progression::<!-- Choose one of: Good, Poor, Other. -->]] [[Will Save Progression::<!-- Choose one of: Good, Poor, Other. -->]] [[Class Ability::<!-- Choose one of: Prepared Arcane Spellcasting, Spontaneous Arcane Spellcasting, Prepared Divine Spellcasting, Spontaneous Divine Spellcasting, Alternate Magic, Psionics, Invocations, Martial Maneuvers, Sneak Attack, Bardic Music, Skirmish, or Other. If the class has multiple abilities with different progressions, choose Other. -->]] <!-- Delete any of the following alignments if they are not allowed in the class --> [[Allowed Alignments::Lawful Good]] [[Allowed Alignments::Lawful Neutral]] [[Allowed Alignments::Lawful Evil]] [[Allowed Alignments::Neutral Good]] [[Allowed Alignments::Neutral]] [[Allowed Alignments::Neutral Evil]] [[Allowed Alignments::Chaotic Good]] [[Allowed Alignments::Chaotic Neutral]] [[Allowed Alignments::Chaotic Evil]] </div>
It needs to go right after the Author block, before the class text start. Some classes may have older versions of this, likely using #set. Go ahead and delete the old stuff in favor of this new stuff, but let the old stuff help make setting these easy. If you run into anything weird, let me know here and I'll take a look at it. - Tarkisflux Talk 06:10, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
SamarieEdit
Looks like you had an author-requested deletion of the race a while back, but these three articles still exist which rely on the race:
- Samarie Barbarian (3.5e Racial Substitution Levels)
- Samarie Fury (3.5e Feat)
- Samarie Heritage (3.5e Feat)
I'd delete them, but I didn't want to just go ahead and do so without knowing what your plan was with them or if you needed to archive them first. --Ganteka Future 20:12, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for bringing this to my attention. --Leziad 20:38, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
Don't think I'll be able to join your gameEdit
Hey, wanted to tell you this in person - I've been hit with a lot more work than I expected, so thus, I don't think I'll be able to participate in your game. That being said, thanks for the offer, and I hope it goes well. - MisterSinister 22:12, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

Comm FaveEdit
1) Yes, you did the technical bits right. 2) We're doing a "wait a week" thing before adding a Comm Fave to rotation or sandboxing a Comm Opp, so that we are less likely to need to undo it. It's probably fine in this case though.

Viewtiful Warrior RatingEdit
Hey, could you take a look at the Viewtiful Warrior again? I went and delayed several class features, as well as nerfing VFX Slow and VFX Zoom to only apply Charisma modifiers once each. I'm also curious to see what you think of the prestige classes - Viewtiful Shogun, Viewtiful Monarch, and Viewtiful Captain. --Luigifan18 (talk) 22:45, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

Tech SupportEdit
Of all the users on here, you seem to have the best idea of how all this noise works. I made a Skill Trick called Professional Butcher, and it's not showing up on the main table. What do? -SecondDeath777 01:37, 4 September 2017
- It can take some time for it to show up. The navigation pages are cached, and it takes a variable amount of time for them to update. But they will update. Surgo (talk) 01:09, 4 September 2017 (MDT)
- See, that was my first guess, but I was afraid it might not be the case. Good to know I had nothing to worry about. Much obliged. -SecondDeath777 13:00, 4 September 2017
- Never been greeted so warmly. Most forums and boards I visit treat me like a punk, so the kindness is refreshing. Thank you, my man. -SecondDeath777 18:26, 4 September 2017.
- Edit: Say, I know it's not from the same wiki, but could you read this Vampire variant I made? I want to share it with someone, and all my friends are pretty busy lately. Fair warning, though, it's pretty out there, ESPECIALLY the Master variant: http:(forwardslash)(forwardslash)www.dandwiki.com(forwardslash)wiki(forwardslash)Vampire_(3.5e_Racial_Template) (i excluded some punctuation to get through the spam filter)

Help?Edit
Hey, it's the newbie again. I've been pretty appreciative of your help sharpening up my various wacky creations, and I wanted your help on something before it goes out to print. I wanted to make an Infinite Lotus Maneuver called Quantum Entanglement, and have it function similarly to the real life phenomenon, binding the fate of several objects (will saves involved, of course) with unlimited range. It seems ludicrously powerful on paper, and I almost gave up on making it work. But given your expertise, I hope you can help me bring this awesome scientific concept to D&D. And speaking of ludicrously powerful, I made this recently, and I fear I went overboard. Your input would be deeply valued. Kind regards. -SecondDeath777 23:19, 28 October 2017
- I would be extremely happy to help. I can always comment and help on stuff. Let me cook the idea a bit in my mind and then I will get right back to you. --Leziad (talk) 01:04, 29 October 2017 (MDT)
- Alright, so Quantum Entanglement does not really work between two objects bigger than a particle. That not a problem for DnD, because magic. But that should influence how the maneuver works. The easier way would be that you must be one of the 'object' and another creature is the other. If there any damage dealt to one it also dealt to the other, same for healing and status effects. Things that allow a save also work, although both participants receive a save and if one succeed the effect is negated. This would be effective as both a buff and debuff, a will save negate for an unwilling participant. Of course it work over an unlimited distance, maybe even across planar boundaries. It effect can even be permanent, however maybe only a single bonding at a time, which can be dismissed by both participants (or through a break enchantment or stronger spell). --Leziad (talk) 12:49, 30 October 2017 (MDT)
- It's a start, but I've seen things like it before. Any way to make it spicier? Also, it could be considered a series of quintillions of different entanglements, linking every particle in one object to another, some being tied to several particles as compensation for excess. -SecondDeath777 15:12, 30 October 2017
- Thanks for all the hard work, my dude. I don't know how to add co-authors to an article, but when this gets done, I'm gonna throw your name in there somehow. -SecondDeath777 16:59, 30 October 2017
- Hey man? I...I kinda made a prestige class...but I'm worried it's horrifically overpowered. I haven't uploaded it, but I have the notes, and I could email them to you. You have an email so I can do this thing covertly, or have I given you too much to do already? -SecondDeath777 23:28, 1 November 2017

- Also, since it's technically not Community Opposed anymore (even though it very well may be back to that state if just making Everlasting Dream an alternate class feature isn't enough to nullify or revise your rating), I tried to put Mogeko Snatcher back in the mainspace, but got blocked from doing so because apparently the name's already taken. Even though what's already there is just a redirect to the userspace. Moving pages is supposed to override redirects. What the heck is going on?!? --Luigifan18 (talk) 21:08, 25 November 2017 (MST)
I need yer 'punions.Edit
Is this okay, senpai? -SecondDeath777 04:15, 20 December 2017
- Sure, I am always happy to give my opinion. But the question is, one what? --Leziad (talk) 22:41, 20 December 2017 (MST)
- I made a maneuver. The "this" in my first post links to it. I need to know if it's broke. -SecondDeath777 04:34, 21 December 2017
- It seem odd for a boost, honestly at 4th level it should probably be a counter for 1 effect. Also is the movement restricted at all? Maybe it could a be counter were you are allowed to move as immediate action and if you can make it out of the area you get a Reflex (Negate) save. Otherwise it seem fine, a bit worried about the teleport abuse though. --Leziad (talk) 15:07, 21 December 2017 (MST)
- It's a little hard to abuse, as it specifically puts you at the nearest spot out of range. You don't pick where you go. Also, because it lasts the whole round, making it an immediate counter would give it a bit more versatility than it needs. For my purposes, changing the DCs you impose upon others is the real key component. It allows you to take abilities that force saves that aren't Dexterity based, and allow Dexterity focused builds to get more mileage out of them. The Reflex thing is just for funzies. -SecondDeath777 19:21, 21 December 2017
Build help?Edit
I'm trying to make an Adonis. He's a bisexual, seductive man, who tempers a thin layer of arrogance with kindness. He readily admits any observation he makes about people, be it his own glorious traits, or those of others. His faults, or those of others. But he knows when people would rather not hear it, and is an all-around master of persuasion. So, I wanna get him set up...but I'm having trouble picking a base class.
Bard is a little different than what I had in mind and certainly too easy.
I got about two class features into Mesmerist, and the page length made Luigifan's wordiest work look articulate.
Your Codex Swordsage is a good start...but Eloquent Speech is the ONLY functional Charisma based Discipline I could find, and even it is closer to Frank Underwood, Master Manipulator than a male seductress.
Sorcerer is infinitely too magic heavy, leaving me without exceptional charm once the mana runs dry, and leaving me very little option, as most manipulation is sidelined in favor of TORGUE! EXPLOSIOOOOOONZ!
I found a Telepath class I could work with, but it strikes me as closer to Jace Beleren than a charming type.
Marshal is ABSOLUTELY a charisma hound, but...it's more a support class than a charmer.
I'm running out of ideas, and am on the verge of settling on Psion. Halp. Or, if you have no idea, maybe point me to someone who does? -SecondDeath777 02:27, 16 February 2018
- Codex Swordsage allow you to have all Mental DC be Cha-based. Sublime Assassin has the same. As far as charmers go, why not the Master Grifter? Although I guess it kinda interrupt class progression. Archaeologist Manipulator Minstrel maybe? --Leziad (talk) 14:50, 17 February 2018 (MST)
- O_O...glory to Alternate Class Features. You're a lifesaver, Lezi. -SecondDeath777 21:21, 17 February 2018
ImmortalistEdit
Hi! I loved the idea of this PsC, but was disagreed with some things. I couldn't talk to you, so I just made a variant class. You can check it here. I used most of the fluff, but changed many things, as I thought this would be far more logical. -LRimus 00:49, 21 February 2018
- It seem you made it a epic cleric class essentially, which is fine. --Leziad (talk) 14:52, 20 February 2018 (MST)
- Epic Arcane Spellcaster class, to be exact. --LRimus 01:12, 21 February 2018
- Arcane Disciple Feat or some class feature, like from my own homebrew class Magister Magi for example. Or by any means one by one spells themselves there are lots of ways to add divine spells as arcane or even as divine for arcane spellcaster. There is also always and option of multiclassing. --LRimus 03:02, 21 February 2018
Build Help 2: Electric BoogalooEdit
Say I wanted to make a Blacklight Mutant from [PROTOTYPE]. Is there a class or template that imitates it? Like, to the letter, not just something I'd have to reflavor? Like, the consuming creatures, using their DNA and memories for stuff, morphing and weaponizing the body, and so on? If not, could you make one for/with me? I'd really like to see this be possible in D&D. -SecondDeath777 03:07, 19 March 2018
- I never played the game. But my guess would be for a Assimilator Transmogrifier? --Leziad (talk) 11:17, 19 March 2018 (MDT)
- Yup, yeah, that's, that's perfect. Dankë. -SecondDeath777 24:40, 20 March 2018
