UnderbornEdit
A template which can turn any creature into an underdark version of itself.
Drow are underdark elves. Duergar are underdark dwarves. Why stop there, make underdark creatures of any kind. Underborn creatures tend to be black or gray versions of their surface counterparts, sometimes with glowing eyes, white or no hair, and more sinister appearances.
Creating an UnderbornEdit
This is an inherent template which can be applied to any creature normally born on the surface.
Special AttacksEdit
Spell-Like Abilities (Sp): Choose two 1st level spells from any list. You gain both of these spells as spell-like abilities 1/day. Caster level is equal to your character level, and the DC is based on your highest mental ability score.
Special QualitiesEdit
Darkvision (Ex): The underborn creature gains 120 ft of darkvision.
Light Blindness (Ex): Abrupt exposure to bright light (such as sunlight or a daylight spell) blinds underborn creatures for 1 round. On subsequent rounds, they are dazzled as long as they remain in the affected area.
Magic Resistant (Ex): Underborn creatures gain a +2 racial bonus on saves against spells and spell-like abilities.
Spell Resistance (Su): The underborn creature gains spell resistance 11 + HD.
SkillsEdit
Knowledge Dungeoneering and Survival are always class skills, and receive a +2 bonus.
