Telepathic ParagonEdit
An innate master at the art of entering other's thoughts, the Telepathic Paragon is the ultimate mind reader.
While any psionic character can study telepathy, there are some who are truly gifted. To these, telepathy is not just a learned study, it is an innate sense. They are the sighted, in the land of the blind.
Creating a Telepathic ParagonEdit
While normally inherent, this template can be acquired, usually by way of some extreme mental trauma. There are rumors, however, of a psionic ritual that will "expand the manifester's mind to unheard-of levels."
Size and TypeEdit
The character or creature gains the Psionic subtype.
Special AttacksEdit
The character receives the following psi-like abilities:
Mindlink, empathy, read thoughts, and detect psionics (If using this template for Pathfinder, substitute Sense Minds for Detect Psionics)
All are usable 3/day at 1st level. At 5th level, this goes up to 'at will'. At 9th level, they become effectively constant.
At 11th level, the character can use Telepathic Bond 1/day as a psi-like ability. This can only be done between the paragon and one other person, but the duration is permanent until turned off by the paragon.
If the Telepathic Paragon has used up his 'per day' uses, and has levels in a class that give him power points, he can chose to power them with power points, as if they were normally selected abilities.
Special QualitiesEdit
The Telepathic Paragon has Telepathy (big surprise there) 100 ft, + 10 ft per level or hit die.
If he has levels in a psionic class, he also has the ability to select his powers known from any power with the Telepathic descriptor, regardless of the list. This does include the Telepathy domain list.
The Telepathic Paragon also has innate power resistance of his level +15, but ONLY against telepathic attacks. To all other forms of psionics, he has no more natural defense than anyone else.
AbilitiesEdit
The Telepathic Paragon gets +4 to one mental stat, and +2 to the other two.
FeatsEdit
The character gets one Psionic bonus feat.
