Mixture of moderate to wizard level abilities with an undefined term "true death" thrown in.

0: Looks ok.

1: I don't like that mundane Disguise is useless, nor that magical disguises work but are defeated by a set DC.
6: Vampires have DR/wood now? Whatever, it's not so bad I suppos...
11: WIZARD PISSES IN YOUR FEAT. 25% chance your BBEG is just gone each round, cause the rapier user was feeling cheeky.
16: Why the nausea triggers on the use of certain abilities is a mystery...

And it says it's High, huh?

No sir, I don't like it.

The problem is that the lower and upper limits on the fraction of opponents you fight who are [Unliving] are "none" and "all", respectively, and controlled by the DM without any real guidelines on that point.

I suppose that if you knew you were going to be playing in a Vampire Hunter/Vampire Assassination Politics campaign, this feat would be a valid and reasonable choice, but then it's still just a moderate boost to identification and kill speed, not particularly exciting.

While I disagree with some of the abilities gotten, I do like the design principles behind this feat, allowing you to specialize in something that doesn't normally have to fit within the general things encompassed by most classes.

What about if instead upon striking a vampire with a melee attack, they are treated as being exposed to sunlight for 1 round?--Dragonexx (talk) 23:38, 6 February 2017 (MST)
