Talk:Dash (3.5e Feat)
NoteEdit
To anyone that rates things, this feat should definitely be rated. I believe it hits the rogue level bang on and opens up tons of options for characters. --Andrew Arnott (talk, email) 21:32, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- This feat is definitely useful and I could see why people would want it. The only thing it has going against it is that crappy feat needed to qualify for it. --Sulacu 14:56, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
- Generally that's true, but I've seen enough rewrites of dodge or virtual replacement feats that are actually worthwhile that it isn't a huge problem from where I stand. --Aarnott 15:10, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
ClarificationEdit
Can you dash as a swift action and move as a move action in the same round? Dash and charge? -Cedges 14:46, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
- Yep, thus opening more options at the cost of actions and potentially provoking AoOs. --Ghostwheel 19:43, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

A nice, solid feat; adds tactical depth without being too powerful. |

Dual Wielder's rejoice! This feat is just what the doctor ordered to address the way action economy gimps the TWFighting style. Two feats is a small price to pay. |

A good option for the poor old scout. That always makes me happy. Oh yeah, and mobility for other melee dorks. |

This is a godsend for mobile combatants like scouts that want to skirmish and rogues that want to flank. It opens up tactical options without doing anything game-breaking. And dodge isn't that bad of a feat, by the way. It's just that there are better ones. |

Both simple and tactically interesting.
Not sure what the exclusion of Jump and Climb are about, though. |

Adds tons of versatility to a character's tactical movement, without going over the top. This is probably one of my more favorite feats on the wiki. |
