SoulboundEdit

Binders are known for summoning and binding mysterious non-spirits to their souls known as vestiges. These strange non-creatures come and go, but for some they gain the service of a vestige that never leaves. Soulbound creatures have a vestige bound to them, permanently.

Creating a Soulbound CreatureEdit

This is an acquired template which can be applied to any creature capable of taking levels in binderToM.

Special AttacksEdit

The soulbound creature may gain special attacks as the result of his vestige, but this depends on the vestige.

Special QualitiesEdit

Eternal Binding: Choose a single vestige available to binders at 1st level. You are permanently bound to this vestige, gaining the benefits and downsides of binding said vestige. If you do not have the Suppress Sign class feature, you always show evidence of the sign. In addition each day you must make the Charisma check to determine if you've made a bad pact, and the vestige gains a +5 bonus to its DC. Your binder level is equal to your character level.

If you gain other vestiges via feats or levels, this stacks with your ability to bind. However all other vestiges treat your binder level as two levels lower (minimum 1). Your permanent vestige does not share well.

SkillsEdit

Soulbound creatures gain a +4 bonus on Knowledge Arcana, Knowledge Religion, and Knowledge The Planes checks, and may use them untrained.
