The racial deity of stercules.

OriginEdit

Said to be emerged from the scrapped remains of creation, it was born as a god of rejuvanation. It created its own people, the stercules, in its image (that of a jewel-like scarab) upon which it imparted its wisdom, courage and industriousness.

DescriptionEdit

It appears as a humanoid scarab with a lapis lazuli-encrusted carapace, a strong physique, clothed in a candid tunic, it brings along a golden staff of power and scrolls with projects.

Depending on its aspects, it may also appear as a dung beetle rolling a dungball (the Artisan), a winged scarab (the Sage) or an hercules beetle covered in a shiny armour (the Warrior).

Dogma and PrayersEdit

Its portfolio revolves around the thriving of the stercules, which it guides actively towards armony and progress. Stercules pray to it both in official cerimonies carried out by its priests and in private, through community activities and personal prayer.

In addition, Razur is actually split in three aspects: the Artisan, the Sage and the Warrior. Each of these represents a side of sterculeian society, be it the inventive and crafty side, the wise and curious or the proud and honorable one. Razur commands its followers to dedicate themselves to all of its aspects, but having greater attention to the one that better suit's one's attitude and preferences, showing that everyone is welcomed under the sun, with Razur's guidance.

Clergy and TemplesEdit

Clergy of Razur must choose which of its aspect they serve, and they receive their choice of domains accondingly:

Any cleric may choose the Birth domain.

They cover different roles in their society, according to their chosen aspect. High-ranking clerics often have the traditional role of guidance and teaching, while lower-ranking ones often are almost not noticeable among their equal, often participating to everyday life activities in their own field of specialty.
