As the priest threw the key into the gate, it began shining with a fell light. With a powerful sucking wind, the called dark lord was dragged back into the depths of the otherworld where it came.
You cause a portal (or a portal which recently existed up to 1 round/level ago, such as a previous gate spell) to re-open and invert itself, transforming into a powerful vortex. All creatures which crossed through this portal within the last 24 hours are subject to Fortitude saves each round or be dragged 60 ft in the direction of the portal. When they reach the portal, they are sucked back in to the place where they came from (no portal exists on their side to return). Creatures affected by this spell must also make saving throws whenever attempting to move in a direction away from the portal, and are unable to move for that round on a failed save.
The spell can affect creatures to an unlimited distance on the same plane. Within 60 ft of the portal itself, severe winds are also present which may accidentally draw in other creatures by wind pressure alone.
At the end of the spell, you can choose to have the portal snap shut and be affected by seal portalMotP.
Material Component: A small, forked metal rod, as used for the plane shift spell. It is tossed into the portal as part of the casting. You also need a 50 gp silver bar if using the seal portal function.
