Host of PossessionsEdit

I AM NEVER ALONE! I LOVE COMPANY!
—Carie, Doisyl Host of Possession

A host of possession is a binder hwo improve upon an inherent connection with vestiges, allowing them to bind many more vestiges, although at the sacrifice of good pacts. Most host of possession start as soulbound creatures who sought to end the troublesome sign of their bound vestige by learning proper soul-binding, and then discover a way to exploit their inherent connection with the void outside of reality.

Class FeaturesEdit

All of the following are class features of the Host of Possessions.

Soul Binding: At each Host of Possessions level, your soul binding ability improves as if you had also gained a level in the binder class. Your Host of Possessions levels and binder levels stack for the purpose of determining your bonus on binding checks, the effectiveness of your vestige-granted abilities, your ability to bind higher-level vestiges, and the number of vestiges you can bind. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a binder would have gained.

Willing Possession: A 1st level Host of Possessions can bind an additional 1st level vestige. At 3rd level and each odd level thereafter she can bind a vestige of 1 level higher and at 4th and 8th she can bind an additional vestige in this fashion. The Host of Possessions must use her willing influence on any vestige bound through this ability.

This replace the eternal binding ability of the soulbound template.

Improved Willing Influence: A 2nd level Host of Possessions's willing influence now grant a +4 bonus instead of a +2 bonus.

Open Possession (Su): A 6th level Host of Possessions is able to essentially invite another creature inside her body as a full-round action. Upon doing so a willing creature within medium range she designate possess her body as per magic jar except no respectable is needed. Unlike magic jar, if the possession cannot be terminated in a way that would kill the creature (such as being out of range of the body), if it would happen instead the target creature simply wake up with a migraine.

Draw Soul (Su): A 9th level Host of Possessions is able to force a the soul of a recently dead creature to attempt to possess her, this function as per soul bind except there is no focus. Instead the souls are stored inside the Host of Possessions's body and freed once she is slain.

Void Within (Su): A 10th level Host of Possessions become immune to any effect which unwillingly displace her soul (such as trap the soul and magic jar). Any creature which attempt to use magic jar or similar ability on her are automatically affected by her draw soul ability. She may not use Void Within on any creature she invited through Open Possession
