As the token strikes the door, spectral shackles, chains, and locks snap into place. There will be no entering here.
Using a feather token (bind) seals a room as if using arcane lock. If placed on an archway or open portal, it will instead form a web spell over the entrance (DC 15). Alternatively it can be thrown at a creature with a ranged touch attack, duplicating hold monster DC 15 for 5 rounds. Flying creatures will hang motionless in midair and will not fall.
Lastly, the token can be used as a trap. If embedded into the floor over the course of 1 minute and a successful DC 15 Craft Trap check, it will make the 5 ft square a magic trap (DC 21 Spot, DC 21 Disable Device) against slow for 5 rounds (DC 15). Once used for a trap, it cannot be retrieved. It radiates faint transmutation in this state.
Undead creatures are immune to the effects of this token.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, arcane lock, hold monster, slow, web.
