With a quick oration, the strange merchant-cleric shot a luminescent beam from the crystal floating near him
You shoot a beam of iridescent light, dealing 1d4 per caster level (maximum 10d4) of force damage to anyone onto its path. A successful Reflex save halves the damage.
You may use one gem or more as material components while casting this spell. For each gem you may either increase the range by 30 feet (9 meters) or bend the beam up to 90 degrees, as the gem refracts the ray. You may combine multiple gems in each casting, up to 5. This way, the gems are consumed and the spell casting time is one full-round action.
Material Component: One or more gems of 50 gp of value
