This mask appears to be stone, but carved with disturbing organic detail and insect limbs. When fully activated the legs burrow into the flesh, and the eyes erupt into worms.
This mask obscures the eyes so that the users eyes appear blind and blank, but otherwise does not interrupt vision. While worn, you can see up to 5 ft through opaque objects (which appear as translucent), and can always see 5 ft ahead of you even if blinded by fog, darkness, or lack of eyes. As a swift action you can activate the mask at full power. In this state your eyes erupt into worms, and you can gaze through up to 60 ft of material and always see 60 ft no matter what. You are counted as having both line of sight and line of effect for any purpose within 60 ft. This awakened state can last for up to 10 rounds each day. The duration of the effect need not be consecutive rounds.
