Battle BarmaidEdit

I'l be dead before I'l tip you a single copper, wench!
—Harold Bogon, Human Fighter, Last Words

Battle barmaids come from two stocks. Many of them are former adventurers who retired and opened up a bar or went to work in a tavern. Others are regular barmaids and barmen who, after dealing with countless raunchy and drunk adventurers, started gaining class levels. Despite its name (because females make most of the battle barmaids), the prestige class is open to both genders; the male version, battle barmen, tend to stay behind the counter a little bit more, and are thus less likely to come into contact with adventurers needing a kicking. The Battle Barmaid class covers all barmaids and barmen, from the established and renowned butler to the seductive wench.

Class FeaturesEdit

All of the following are class features of the Battle Barmaid.

Bottoms Up: Hanging out in taverns all the time teaches you a few things. A 1st level Battle Barmaid gains bottoms up as a bonus feat, even if they do not meet the prerequisites.

Get Out of my Tavern! (Ex): A 1st level battle barmaid gains covering grapple and iron grip as bonus feats, even if she does not meet the prerequisites. She may use Get Out Of Here on unwilling creatures as well as willing creatures. If she uses it on an unwilling creature, it always lands prone.

Ever-full Pitcher (Su): A 2nd level battle barmaid can make any mug, pitcher, or other container of mundane alcoholic drink she touches unlimited and bottomless. This lasts for as long as the battle barmaid touches the container itself.

Maneuver-like Ability (Ex): At 2nd, 4th, and every even level thereafter, the battle barmaid gains a single maneuver-like ability from the Setting Sun discipline she meets the prerequisite of (as a result, she must usually start with a 1st level maneuver).

Drunkard Bane (Ex): A 3rd level battle barmaid gains a +2 bonus on attack rolls and deals an extra 2d6 damage on inebriated creatures.

Overflowing Pitcher (Su): A 5th level battle barmaid can now make her ever-full pitcher behave like a decanter of endless water. When she uses the geyser mode, the strength check becomes equal to 10 + her charisma modifier and affects all creatures in a 10 ft/class level ft. line, and all affected creatures must make a fortitude save equal to the alcohol DC or become inebriated (as if they drunk a full mug of the alcohol, DC increases as normal for every round they are subjected).

Unarmed Grapple Master (Ex): A 7th level battle barmaid gains unarmed grapple master as a bonus feat, even if she does not meet the prerequisites.

Torrential Overflowing Pitcher (Ex): A 9th level battle barmaid can unleash her ever-full pitcher, replicating the effect of Wei Yu's tides of fury. In addition to the spell's normal effect, every affected creatures must make a fortitude save equal to the alcohol DC or become inebriated (as if they drunk a full mug of the alcohol, DC increases as normal for every round they are subjected). The battle barmaid may only use torrential overflowing pitcher once per hour.

Tavern Phylactery: A 10th level battle barmaid has discovered the secret of immortality; she gain a demiplane as per genesis, except the entire demiplane is a single large tavern which is divinely morphic to her will. As long as the tavern is standing, she ceases to age and reverts to young adult (reverting to her actual age if the tavern is ever destroyed, possibly killing her). Once per year, if she dies, she respawns in her tavern with all her equipment in 1d10 days; if she dies again within the year, she must either be resurrected normally or wait a year and 1d10 days for respawning.

Once per day, she may plane shift (willing creatures only) without error to her tavern demiplane. She can also designate a single door on the material plane that leads to her tavern; any creatures passing through that door are instead transported to her tavern (will negates) and the entrance of the tavern demiplane leads to the chosen door. The battle barmaid may change the door which lead to her tavern with a 8 hours ritual.
