The mission had failed, and the secrets of Pneumbra were going to be revealed. Only one thing left to do... Elder Brain have mercy.
Each illithid suicide pill is attuned to a specific elder brain or location. When this small glowing pill is consumed, the creature must make a DC 21 Fortitude save or die as his brain is disconnected and teleported out of their skull. It is supposedly used for desperate illithids who do not wish to die without their mind being brought to the Elder Brain. However it is sometimes used as a suicide pill for illithid slaves and minions, or told to be regular medication, and the brain's location to be teleported to hungry illithids for their satisfaction and consumption.
Because it glows, few would confuse it for a normal pill, making it a questionable assassination method without a good bluff.
This pill does not function on creatures with Intelligence 2 or lower, or mindless creatures.
Prerequisites: Craft Universal Item, decerebrate, psionic teleport.
Cost to Create: 2000 gp, 160 EXP, 4 days.
