Killing Flames
Blast Shape; Warlock Least; 2nd

As you thrust your hand forward and clenched your fist, fiery eldritch energy coalesced around the enemy warrior, collapsing inward and crushing his vitality. As his body fell, his silhouette remained, looking in horror at his body on the ground. With a smirk, you point at one of the warrior's former comrades and bark an order in the tongue of the hells, and the ghostly warrior silently moves, face still twisted in horror, in for the kill.

This blast shape doesn't affect the shape (It's still a 60' ray), but deals an additional percentage of damage equal to the rough percentage of health the target is missing; For example, a Killing Flames Blast would deal 50% more damage to a monster at half health. This functions in increments of 10% to simplify the life of your DM a little bit (You can also just increase the damage of the blast by 1 point for every 2 HP the target creature is missing if you don't like working with percentages; However this becomes more powerful on creatures with large health pools).

A living target killed by this blast shape rises as a Soul Puppet of the target's HD, size and alignment in their square, under your control. The Puppet lasts for 1 round per 2 CL or until destroyed and fights at your command. You can only have one Soul Puppet at a time. The Soul Puppet's incorporeal touch attack deals the same damage type as the Killing Flames Blast used to kill it; Thus a Killing Brimstone Blast would cause their touch to deal Fire damage. They are also immune to whatever damage type killed them (In the case of an Utterdark blast, rather than being immune to negative energy, it heals them for twice as much as usual). The damage type defaults to Cold in the case of a blast that doesn't use an essence or uses an essence that doesn't change the damage type (Such as a Spellblast or Greatreach Blast).

Once used, this blast shape cannot be used again for 5 rounds.
