Blacksteel

A material very similar to steel, blacksteel has the odd trait of drawing blood. This dark grey to black metal is said to come from a country plagued by horrible creatures which are more easily killed through bleedout. A weapon made of blacksteel deal a point of bleed with each successful strike when used to deal piercing or slashing damage, on a critical threat (whether or not the critical hit is confirmed) it increase the amount of bleed to 1d4, if the critical threat is a natural 20 the bleed is maximized to 4. Weapons made of blackstteel gain a 10% discount on the Bloodthirsty, BlurstrikeMIC, Keen, Massive Critical, Razor and other enhancement which affect critical strike.

As an armor material blacksteel is is capable of preventing bloodloss to some degree. When wearing a blacksteel armor the wearer prevent 1 point of bleed damage per turn and only lose 10% of their maximum hit point on bleedout.
