Royalblood Paragon

A royalblood paragon is a PC member of the royal family, usually one of the heir to the throne but not always. They are fledglings, not quite as skilled in one area but gain ability make them that make them skilled at intrigue and with multiclassing allow them to specialize in one area.

Making a Royalblood Paragon

Abilities: Usually royalblood paragon need good intelligence for skills and charisma for interacting with her subject or court intrigue, a good constitution insure healthy heirs and surviving multiple poisoning.

Races: Despite being a racial paragon class, any race can theoretically get into it. The class however must be taken at 1st level. Only races with some kind of monarchy or from a society with a monarchy can qualify the royalblood paragon class.

Alignment: Any

Starting Gold: As fighter.

Starting Age: Simple.

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Royalblood Paragon.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A royalblood paragon is proficient with all simple weapon and one martial or exotic weapon of their choice, they are not proficient with any armor or shield.

Secret Identity (Ex): A 1st level royalblood paragon can create a secret identity for herself, while assuming her secret identity she gain a +8 bonus on disguise and bluff but only for staying in character. Additionally she gain disguise in plain sight as soon she meet the prerequisites.

As a full-round action the royalblood paragon can reveal her disguise to all creature that can see and hear her, all of her subject that have been fighting her gain a single daunt level. Creature who were aware of the royalblood paragon's secret identity are not affected by this ability.

Regal Presence (Ex): A 1st level Royalblood Paragon may use knowledge (Nobility and Royalty) instead of diplomacy when interacting with nobles and other authority or important figures and intimidate when interacting with commoners and other type of serfs. She still use her charisma modifier for those checks.

Additionally creatures that recognize her royal office treat are one step friendlier towards you than normal (to a maximum of Friendly). This is only an 'initial attitude' - if you take any actions that harm or offend them, their attitude will adjust appropriately. Her royal blood may also allow her to use certain items and grant her a +4 bonus on any future leadership score.

Royalblood Ability (Ex): At 1st level and each royalblood paragon level thereafter, you choose and gain a single ability from the list below.

Bodyguards (Ex): You are precious and thus creatures take hits for you, as an immediate action you may have any creature adjacent to you become the target of an attack or ability that would target you, the creature must be willing to take the attack for you otherwise the action is wasted and you still are the target.

Divine Right (Ex): Choose one domain, you gain that domain's power.

Enchanting Voice (Su): You gain the fascinate ability of a bard. You may make a perform check and attempt to fascinate creatures at will. You do not gain any other bardic music effects or benefits.

Poison Use (Ex): You gain poison use as the assassin ability. If you already possess or later gain poison use you may apply poison as a swift action instead.

Shake Morale (Ex): As a standard action you attempt to demoralize opponent using your bluff instead of your Intimidate skill, the affected creature take one daunt level.

Well Read (Ex): You gain bardic knowledge as a bard of your character level.

Royal Heirloom: A 1st level royalblood paragon start with a single masterwork weapon or armor with a base value (not including masterwork) of no more than 200 gp. You gain a 10% discount when enhancing your royal heirloom.

Apprenticeship (Ex): A 2nd level royal blood paragon gained some training, choose one of the following ability:

Art of War: Your royalblood paragon level grant you moderate attack bonus (like cleric), a [fighter] bonus feat you meet the prerequisites of and you become proficient with light and medium armor as well as shield (except tower shield).

Roguecraft: You gain sneak attack +1d6 as a rogue.

Spellcasting: You gain one cantrip and one 1st spell from the sorcerer/wizard spell list, you may use the cantrip at will and the 1st level spell twice per day. Additionally at every level but 1st level in royalblood paragon a character gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in a spellcasting class she belonged to before adding the prestige class. She does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained, except for an increased effective level of spellcasting. If a character had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a royalblood paragon, she must decide to which class he adds the new level for purposes of determining spells per day. If the character does not have a spellcasting class when she takes royalblood paragon, then he gains no benefit from this feature until she gains at least one level in a spellcasting class.

Ability Boost (Ex): A 3rd level royalblood paragon gain a +2 bonus to her wisdom or charisma score.

Commanding Voice (Ex): A 3rd level royalblood paragon can use command as a swift action, at character level 6 she may instead use greater command instead. Her subjects take a -4 penalty on their will save against this ability while creature hostile to her office gain a +4 bonus instead. The saving throw is charisma-based.
