Upon casting, the caster makes a melee touch attack. If successful, the target must make a Fortitude save or have a blood clot immediately form in either the target’s arm or leg that incurs the following penalties (see below) for the duration of the spell. Other appendages, such as wings, can be targeted at the discretion of the DM, but the effects incurred should remain in keeping with those presented here.
