Not Fighter
Hmmm, interesting concept, though I am concerned on how it borks with pre-requisite issues to PrCs. Then again I suppose this is similar to gaining a sorcerer level through kobold tricks, but that requires two feats and some gold expendature, and cannot be done until level 3. As is, this is much stronger than that.
Either way, especially since this is granting actual wizard spells above and beyond your level, this feat is no where near Fighter level. Wizard for sure, though a less sleepy mind would have to see if this is balanced period.
I am stupid, it's up to your HD. Good balancer. Might say it's rogue level still, but now I'm interested. Good concept.
On a side note, for a moment I thought this feat was Practiced Spellcaster. Slightly different name.-- Eiji-kun 13:06, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
- I think this is actually closer to wizard than rogue. Cleric X-1/Wizard 1 is casting as a Cleric X-1 and Wizard X in exchange for giving up some bonus wizard feats. It's pretty awesome actually, and will allow you to basically gestalt into Anything X-1/Full Caster X for the cost of a feat. That sort of versatility is not generally associated with rogue level. - Tarkisflux Talk 19:43, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

- Ok.. I can see that from the articles used here. It would be nice if it actually said 1 for clarity's sake though. Not sure what balance level that would fall in at. On one hand, you basically get to use it to select 1 level of a non-full caster class without giving up your spell progression, and that's nothing to get worked up about at all. On the other, you could use it to supplement spell casting progression with a caster PrC that doesn't grant full casting progression, and that's substantially better. - Tarkisflux Talk 21:27, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
