Dndwiki:Introduction
What an introduction to D&D Wiki pages transferred to Dungeons & Dragons Wiki might look like:

All pages in the namespace Dndwiki have been imported from the former D&D Wiki that shall now be merged with this wiki here. D&D Wiki had a different set of policies, so that they now have to be adapted to the situation here. Please help to modify these articles until they conform to the policies of Dungeons & Dragons Wiki, and then move the page to its appropriate name without the "Dndwiki:.
Articles based on published sources belong into the namespace "Canon:". They are usually designated by:
Tsrwotc

if they are based on sources by TSR or Wizards of the Coast
or
Company name
if based on material by other publishers.

Homebrew material from D&D Wiki is usually designated by:
User:Username

Materials based on the SRD are designated by boxes like the one below and belongs into the namespace "SRD:" if the respective article does not already exist/is complete.

If the source material is not clear, it is designated by:

Unreferenced

Please help by stating the sources for these articles, if possible, before adapting the article into Dungeons & Dragons Wiki.

Hello there!

Looking at D&D at Wikia I came from Wikipedia to D&D Wiki. After many discussions with User:Surgo we came to the conclusion, that we want to combine efforts by merging the two wikis dealing with D&D. I hope we can adapt both of them to get a larger, more comprehensive and better project!
To achieve that, we are now in the first stages of Merge Plan 2.

Below I have made sketches for this merge process, which might better belong into sandbox pages, but at the moment it's easier for me like that.

In the past I have also been active at Forgotten Realms Wiki.

To do

...given enough time. Help appreciated, of course.

 • Adapt main page
 • Care about guidelines for Canon
 • Care about navigation pages (especially navigation page of navigation pages)
 • Merge miniature stubs into list
 • Adapt DnDWiki!

Old:

 • Establish relationships with other wikis.

 • Put link back in at Wikipedia!
 • Care about sources for Birthright articles.
 • Expand campaign setting stubs with the help of Wikipedia.
 • Recreate userboxes?
 • Work on categories (especially Uncategorized pages). - Done as far as I can of now.
 • Have a look at Special Materials formatting
 • Care about links in SRD:..., possibly after merge discussion is decided.

Welcome to the Dungeons and Dragons Wiki!
The Dungeons and Dragons wiki is dedicated to the collection, creation and dissemination of material for all editions of Dungeons and Dragons. Within the limits of copyright we want to collect information about all the races, creatures, spells and more that have been published over the years. This is also the place for homebrew content for many different styles of play, where we are centered around aggressive quality control. We want to help you find material from our collection that you can use in your campaigns without balance concerns. To that end we attempt to tag each page with a balance point that indicates what sort of games it would be most appropriate in. Please see Dungeons and Dragons Wiki:Balance Points for a more complete explanation of our balance points.
