Low - Moderate - This feats assume that you are using Variant Spell Focus, if you do not then ignore the +1 bonus on caster level.
Elemental School Student [General] Benefit: When you take this feat, choose one of the elemental schools below. Once this choice is made it cannot be changed. You gain a +1 bonus to caster level and Difficulty Class when casting spells from the selected school, additionally whenever a feat or class feature would allow you to select a school of magic, you may choose the chosen school instead. This bonus does not stack with Spell Focus but does with any feat which has Spell Focus as a prerequisite. You may select the chosen school instead of an energy type for the Focused Energy feat. The list of school is as following:
- Air: All spells listed on the air school as well as those with the [air] descriptor.
- Earth: All spells from the earth school as well as those with the [earth] descriptor.
- Void: All spells listed on the void school, with the [teleportation] descriptor and the following spells: disintegrate, gloomblind bolt, gravity sling, gravity sphere, implosion, phantom sword, reverse gravity, telekinetic maneuver, telekinetic sphere, telekinetic storm, telekinesis, void prison, void ray, and void sphere.
- Water: All spells listed on the water school as well as those with the [water] descriptor.
- Wood: All spells listed on the wood school as well as the following: arboreal imprisonment, arboreal transformationCM, splinterboltSpC, spike growth, thorny entanglement, wall of thorns as well any any spells which specifically targets plants.
Special: This feat counts as Spell Focus (chosen school) for the purpose of meeting prerequisites. The GM may add other spells available in their campaign setting to certain elemental schools.
