A user that takes this ability has learned to transform all their ki into their proficient element, shrouding themselves in it for both attacking and defending.

To use this ability a user spends a move action and 20 ki points to transform all of their ki into their proficient element, and 20 ki each round to maintain it. The user is shrouded with their element becoming completely immune to the chosen element as long as it is active. Anything that successfully makes a melee attack against the user takes 4d6 elemental damage and must make a save based on the elements status effect (described below).

The users fist is also empowered, and any unarmed attack the user makes gains 4d6 elemental damage and the opponent must make a save based on the elements status effect. Also, while in this form, any ki volley or beam blast made is considered to be 100% the proficient element gaining 4d6 elemental damage and elemental effect chance.

Any time an enemy makes an attack against the user with the same element as the shroud, the user absorbs half of the damage that would normally be done as ki points. This only applies to attacks made by enemies, the user cannot absorb any attack made by any allies, nor can the user absorb neutral fire, ice or lightning, only attacks made by enemies using the element, such as a fireball or a fire enchanted sword. Also a user may only use one element at a time even if they are proficient with more than one. A user cannot do two elements at once.

In addition, any opponent struck by either a ki volley or a beam blast while the user is using Master ki transmutation invocation (20 ki points) must also make a saving throw or suffer one of the following conditions as well.

*Lesser Fire Transmutation: An opponent must make a Reflex saving throw or be caught on fire and take an additional 1d6 fire damage each round until they take a full round action to put it out.
*Lesser Frost Transmuation: An opponent must make a Fortitude saving throw or become slow for 1d4 rounds.
*Lesser Electrical Transmutation: An opponent must make a Fortitude saving throw or become stunned for 1 round.

The saving throw for this ability is separate from the saving throw for avoiding damage from the initial damage from the ki volley or beam blast. The saving throw if it was done by a ki volley is DC 10 + user's Dexterity modifier + 1/2 user's class level. The saving throw if it was done by a beam blast is DC 10 + user's Dexterity modifier + user's class level. The saving throw for the shroud effect is DC 10 + Dex Mod + 1/2 user's class level Each time an opponent is effected by any one of these abilities, the next time the user attempts to use the same energy against them, their saving throw DC goes down by 1 for each time they have been effected with in the last 24 hours.

For example, Toma a 16th level Saiyan Warrior has taken this invocation and has Lesser Electrical Transmutation and Lesser Frost Transmutation. As a move action Toma shrouds himself in electricity. Any creature that hits Toma must make a reflex save or take 4d6 electricity damage. When Toma hits with unarmed strikes, he deals an additional 4d6 electricity damage. If an enemy wizard uses lightning bolt on Toma he is immune to the damage, but the wizard still rolls for damage normally anyways (10d6), and the wizard would have dealt 40 damage. Because he has his lightning shroud on he absorbs half of the 40 points as ki, and gains 20 ki points into his ki pool. The next round the wizard uses freezing sphere on Toma and Toma fails his save. Even though Toma has Lesser Frost Transmutation, hes not using his frost shroud, so he takes the full 15d6 frost damage.
