I would really like to get it up to moderate, would removing the weapon focus get it in that realm? Low
Typically monk bonus feats give you the benefit of ignoring pre-reqs, but it's kind of pointless here. By the time you can pick it up via class bonus feats you already qualify, and you actually still need Weapon Focus for the feat to work.
