Unlike most diseases, this disease is spread whenever an infected person thinks about another creature within 15 feet. That creature must then make a DC 16 Will save or catch the disease. No creature has to make this Will save more than once per minute.
All Wavfloroid bacteria are a single hive-mind that communicates telepathically with itself over any distance.
Creatures damaged by the disease (Also a DC 16 Will save) lose their ability to create long-term technological progress. 2d20 years after the hive-mind is exposed to any new invention or physical concept, it erases all memory of how to create that invention, all understanding of the concept; all interest in rediscovering the invention or concept is removed as well. Creatures born after this memory wipe can become interested in the concept or invention.
While a Wavfloroid infection is normally very subtle, the Wavfloroid hive-mind occasionally chooses to bless a victim with some of the combined psychic powers of the Wavfloroid bacteria. 0.01% of all creatures born with the Wavfloroid infection is capable of gaining Wavfloroid Puppet levels.
