|effect=Whenever a creature damages you in melee, you become [[At Bay (3.5e Condition)|At Bay]] from them for 1 round. If you possess spellcasting, you also are unable to cast defensively while being threatened by an adjacent opponentfor 1 round after being damaged by them.
If your hit points are ever pushed below your ECL, you start [[SRD:Cowering|cowering]]. This condition last until you are no longer in a stressful situation, or until you are healed.
