Proficiency Practice [General]
As a Fighter/Barbarian/Ranger, you are very well accustomed to simple and martial weapons.Benefit: If you have more than one instance of gaining proficiency (such as a Fighter/Barbarian both gaining simple and martial weapon proficiency), you gain benefits for doing so. For armor and shield proficiency which overlap, each instance past the first increases your maximum Dexterity by 1, and decreases your armor check penalty by 1. For weapon proficiency which overlap, each instance past the first increases your damage by 2.
Example: The Fighter/Barbarian has +2 damage for simple and martial weapons, and +1 Max Dex/-1 armor check penalty for light and medium armor and shields (but not tower shields). There is no benefit for heavy armor or tower shields, since the Fighter level grants that only once.
