Earthen Burst[edit]
The weapon was encased in stony fragments and shined like a gem.
This enhancement is a stronger version of the earthen enhancement. An earthen burst weapon deals an additional +1d4 points of damage of the same damage type as the base weapon, or +2d4 against creatures of the [Air] subtype or otherwise made of air. The extra damage does not apply against [Earth] subtype creatures or otherwise made of earth. Anyone wielding this weapon, if standing with all feet on the ground, gains a +4 bonus to resist any effect that may move it or made it fall (this stacks with a dwarf's stability). On a critical hit it deals an additional +1d8 damage (or +2d8 with a 20/x3, or +3d8 with 20/x4).
Like a earthen enhancement, on a natural 20, the target creature must make a Reflex save DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + your attack's ability modifier or fall prone. As a standard action, an earthen weapon can harden up to a 10 feet cube (3 meters) of material it is touching, increasing its hardness by 10 for one minute (multiple uses don't stack but restart the time). The wielder may use this power on anything it wears or wields. As a standard action, the wielder may raise a stone wall adjacent to it, similar to a wall of stone, with caster level equal to its BAB. Only one instance of this stone wall may be present each time, the previous one crumbling to dust when the second one appears, and the wall is high and large enough to cover the wielder. If you have not moved more than 5 feet (1,5 meters) in a round you can project your attacks out into a 10 feet (3 meters) circle as earth shatters and raises with the strength and speed of your actual weapon. Your attack rolls apply to all the creatures in the area. Any status effects, such as from a maneuver or the prone effect from a natural 20, only apply to a single target of your choice in the area. This leaves an area of difficult terrain for one minute, though you are unaffected by it.
