Crystal shape alters glass and precious stones. A rough cut can be done in any of them (without incurring a chance to fail). If shaped into a weapon, the weapon must be one with which you are proficient, and you cannot make any weapons that deal any type of damage other than bludgeoning damage. Cannot be shaped into wearable armor.
This does not alter the variety of crystal (i.e. ruby to emerald), only shapes it.
