Whatever lies beyond the gate is terrifying and baleful. You can use it to your advantage to ward of those looking unto your soul. You are under the effects of Detect Scrying. In addition whenever someone successfully targets you with a divination spell or effect, you can send that caster a nightmarish vision of the being from beyond the gate. This vision functions as a Phantasmal Killer spell. The other creature must succeed on a Will save to disbelieve the nightmare and a Fortitude save (DC 14 + your Cha modifier) to avoid dying from fear. Having someone die from fear ends the effect. This effect lasts for up to 24 hours or until discharged.
Maximum Health Penalty: -6.
