It's not that the skill is bad.  It's not.  But it gives another skill that one needs to invest in to be good at.  Needless to say, Pathfinder did things right by compressing things into Perception, we didn't need to make the issue worse by splitting it further.

|reason=This seems to fit right in with Spot and Listen as a detection skill. It could do with a little bit of polish, a more complete description of how to foil it with Disguise, and maybe some more high DC examples, though.

It's... ok.

It's not that the skill is bad. It's not. But it gives another skill that one needs to invest in to be good at. Needless to say, Pathfinder did things right by compressing things into Perception, we didn't need to make the issue worse by splitting it further.

Also, dubiously covered by Survival usually.
