Duplicating

A duplicating weapon is just that, when wielded it can create a copy of itself as a free action once per round. The copy appear in your off-hand as long as it was empty, if you drop the copy or original, the copy vanish at the end of your next turn (allowing you to throw it). Both the original and the copy share the same material, enhancement and other bonuses. When wielding a duplicating weapon you gain the benefit of two-weapon fighting feat (not an alternate version or replacer, the original SRD version). If you already possess two-weapon fighting (or replacer) you gain the benefits of ambidextrous feat instead.

If the duplicating weapon has any ability with an encounter limit, daily limit or otherwise not at will (such as having a recharge time) the original and any copies draw from the same pool of uses.
