Dreg venom is a vile concoction of hundreds of putrid substances that have been distilled, mixed together, and stewed for weeks on end, resulting in a thin, olive green liquid that smells pungent and disgusting. Dreg venom has been referred to as the unholy brew, the toxin of the gods, and liquid death due to the fact of how incredibly deadly it is.
Type: Injury
Initial Damage: As soon as dreg venom hits a creature's bloodstream, the poison immediately begins to act, turning the creatures muscles to ash as it races through the body, causing unparalleled pain to the creature as it rots ligaments and turns their blood into sludge. Initially the creature affected by dreg venom must pass a Fortitude save (DC 20) or take 2d6 Con damage as their body begins to shrivel.
Secondary Damage: One minute after the venom enters the bloodstream it begins to rot the creature's organs, flooding the blood vessels that encompass the creatures brain, filling the heart with black rot, shriveling the creatures bone marrow, and forcing the creatures blood out through the pores, so that it appears as though the creature is sweating blood. One minute after dreg venom begins to affect a creature they must attempt another Fortitude save (DC 20) or take 2d6 Con, Str, Int, and Wis damage as their body floods with rot.
Price: 8,500 gp per dosage
