Upon casting this spell you draw meteors from above to strike at your target, initially four meteoric mortar shots will be fired and will land in the spell's range. Unlike a normal spell you do not need line of effect to target an area as long as you have line of sight. You may have the mortar shot land anywhere in the spell range, even aiming them at the same square. However, multiple fireball's damage overlap, they do not stack. Thus its useless to aim it all at one creature except to force it to make multiple saves and destroy cover.

After the initial casting you can stay concentrated on the spell, the number of mortar shot depend on the action used for concentration. You may concentrate on the spell as a swift action for a single meteoric mortar shot, as a move action for two, as a standard action for 3 or as a full-round action for 4. It is possible to concentrate open it both with a swift action and another action.

Each mortar shot strike extremely hard, dealing 10d6 bludgeoning damage and 1d8 fire damages per caster level to all creature caught in it radius and cause all creature within it radius to fall prone. Mortar shot deal 10 extra bludgeoning damages per caster level to all terrain, buildings and unattended objects. The meteoric mortar shot leave difficult terrain in their wake. Creatures caught in the radius are allowed a reflex save to halves the fire damage, but not the bludgeoning damage, a successful saving throw also prevent the creature from being knocked prone.
