NIXIE EVOLUTIONS
Knowledge: Arcana
Nixie Evolutions by Level
The nixie begins as is typical.
- Level 5—Water Mephit - The nixie gains the flight, special attacks, and qualities of a water mephit.
- Level 8—The water mephit grows in size to medium.
- Level 9—Water Elemental - The water mephit gains the special attacks and qualities of a large water elemental, with the following caveats: The creature's size is only large when controlling a large amount of water. However, for the purposes of improving the monster by growth in the monster manual, it should be considered large, except when there is no water around. Whenever the creature uses its flight ability, it cannot use its water elemental abilities.
- Level 20—The water elemental grows in size to huge.
