* ''Lore of Heroes'': Living jars are depositories of ancient glory and such they bear the memory of incredible battles and heroes. They gain a +2 racial bonus to recall or tell about ancient heroes, battles and wars, or other glorious moments. They also gain a +2 to Charisma instead of the normal bonus and the ability to replicate the effects of ''heroics''<sup>[[Publication:Spell Compendium|SpC]]</sup> as an extraordinary ability once per day (use their HD as caster level). This alternate feature changes the ability bonus and replaces the ''Warrior Heritage'' feature.
* ''Weapon TrainingRemembrance'': Some living jars contain masters of weapons, and that mastery is transferred to them. They gain free proficiency with a weapon of their choice. This alternate feature replaces the ''Slam Attack'' feature.
