Drow NPCs have the following traits:
- [1] Proficiency in Perception
- [2] Darkvision 120 ft.
- Fey Ancestry: [3] The bard has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
- Trance: [3] Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. After resting in this way, the bard gains the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
- Languages (minimum): Common[1] , Undercommon, Elven[1]
- Weapon Substitution: [2] rapiers, shortswords, and/or hand crossbows
- Sunlight Sensitivity: [3] While in sunlight, the elf has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
- Drow Magic: [2] The elf is a spellcaster. Charisma is its spellcasting ability ({{5e Spell Save Hit|Cha|Prof}}). It may cast the following spells:
- At Will: dancing lights
- If CR 3+, 1/Day: faerie fire
- If CR 5+, 1/Day: darkness
