==Combat Tactics==

Basic soldiers are usually following the orders and tactics of another, but left to their own devices they are trained in effective combat tactics and can engage both at range and in melee.  They are poorly equipped compared to adventurers, so they are not above scavenging for powerful items to augment their natural talents.  They prefer to fight in coordinated groups, flanking each other, acting as bait and decoys, and so forth.
