This spell causes a small eruption of boiling lava, which scorches those close to it. As you cast this spell, choose a grid intersection that connects to the ground. All creatures and objects adjacent to that grid intersection take 2d6 points of bludgeoning damage and 1d6 point of fire damage per caster level (maximum of 10d6) and fall [[SRD:Prone|prone]]. The plume of lava reaches 30 feet high, dealing damage to all creatures above the initial point, but they do not risk falling prone. A successful [[Reflex]] save halves the damage and negate the prone effect. All squares adjacent to the grid intersection are treated as difficult terrain until the area is cleared.
