|reason=Another free try on a saving throw is very left field, not nearly the same power level as the rest of these abilities. I'd be surprised if anyone ever used taking stock for anything other than the second try at a save.

On the other hand, nice flavor text. I'd definitely use this in my campaigns as well if the options were more balanced with each other.

|reason=Not bad.  This would be a like, but I have concerns that not all the options presented are balanced with each other.  Specifically the +1 dodge.  While one might have a situational use for +1 attack (an ambush situation, as it's not worth it mid combat for such a small bonus), the dodge will never be used since it's even more situational, as well as being tiny.

== Balance ==

My main and really only problem with this is that the damage bonus and temp HP scale (And technically the save reroll, since it stays relevant always), while the attack bonus, dodge bonus and CL bonus always stay at +1. If those scaled as +1 per 7 HD (Max +4), I'd be much happier with them. I don't care that the bonuses are untyped, that's fine (Ensuring they stack always), but if one does feel compelled to change/add a bonus, I feel that Insight or Morale makes the most sense. --[[User:Zhenra-Khal|Zhenra-Khal]] ([[User talk:Zhenra-Khal|talk]]) 22:16, 7 August 2019 (MDT)

: The big difference is that the ones that scale are not d20-RNG based. +1 to AC or attack is always an additional +5% chance to be missed/hit, while you take more damage at higher levels, meaning that if you want HP to be worth anything, it ''has'' to scale up.
